As Ashika walked away I got lost in my thoughts the tension from the previous night still lingers, but I choose to keep my worries to myself . I got up and make my way to the lake.
The morning is crisp, and the mist from the lake, rises slowly . As the cool breeze from the lake swept through the morning air as I stood at the water's edge, staring out at the shimmering surface. The world around me was still, the only sound the soft ripples lapping against the shore. I dipped my toes into the water, feeling the chill seep through my skin. Then suddenly I remember the last night and took my steps back and ran to the camp .
